Steps to pass the CCSE test

What is the CCSE Spanish Nationality?

Some know it as the Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain test. This test is carried out by the Cervantes Institute. What is evaluated in this test? Through various tasks, people's knowledge of the constitution.

Is only knowledge of the constitution tested in this test? In the CCSE test, other aspects such as the current Spanish social and cultural reality are evaluated. Knowing about this aspect is one of the main requirements.

• One of the parameters are those established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Other parameters that are taken for the CCSE test are those of the Manual to relate exams with the CEFR. Both are documents approved by the Council of Europe.

• The Spanish constitution.

• Two of the inventories of the Cervantes Institute.

Steps to take the CCSE test

One of the advantages is that, if you want to take the CCSE test, you do not require any specific course or any specific material. This is because the Cervantes Institute puts all the material at your disposal.

Special documents for registration

When taking the test, some specific documents are required, this is more for the registration process. However, when the day of the test arrives, the institute will provide all the specific documents.

Of course in this step you will have to locate the main identification documents. It can be a photo or passport number or even a license number or contact email. This way you will be notified by email when you have the final result.

Study the contents

One of the obvious requirements is to study the contents of the test since, if you do not know the subject of the test, it is very difficult for you to pass. However, the questions are very specific and not very complicated.

What is the structure of the test?

The CCSE test consists of five tasks with 25 questions each. These questions are simple, multiple choice. Of course, all the questions refer to constitutional and socio-cultural knowledge of Spain.

The average duration of the test is 45 minutes. It may be longer or shorter depending on the person. The test is presented on four exam sheets where all the necessary questions will appear.

As an additional point, the test has a weighting of 0 and 1, where correct answers are worth 1 point and incorrect answers are worth 0. If you leave answers blank, these will not be taken into account.

Of course, to pass the test and pass it it is necessary to correctly answer a minimum of 15 of the 25 questions. That is, 60% of the total questions. This way, you will be able to pass.
